My Name is Phillip PERRONI and I am the current School Council President.
I am a co-opted community member of council as I do not have any children at the School.
I first came onto council in 2000 when my eldest daughter commenced school and have been on council continuously since then, firstly as a parent representative and then as community representative.
I have also had the pleasure and honour to be School Council President since I think 2003.
I have lived in Meadow Heights for the past 30 years and have been involved in a few community organisations during this time. The main one being the Meadow Heights Education Centre.

Hi, I’m Nilay Isdar. I’ve had the privilege of being an educator at Meadow Heights Primary School for 8 years, and I’m excited to serve as a newly appointed member of the school council committee. As a proud former student of Meadow Heights Primary School, it’s incredibly rewarding to return as a teacher and give back to the community that shaped me. I’m deeply committed to fostering community engagement, advocating for cultural diversity, and encouraging intercultural dialogue to promote inclusivity. I actively engage in charity work organising events to support orphans, children on the spectrum and families in need. Beyond my professional career of being a devoted teacher, I am a fitness enthusiast, a leading supporter for women’s rights and an advocate for hiking to support and inspire individuals struggling with mental health. I’m eager to collaborate with the MHPS community to bring about positive change and create a brighter future for our young learners.

Hi, my name is Meryem Durmus and I am the Business Manager at Meadow Heights Primary School. I have been a member of school council since 2022, initially as a parent representative and then transitioned to staff in 2024 when I started working at the school.
I’ve always had a special connection to Meadow Heights. I grew up here as a child and years later found my way back when I purchased my first home. Now, I am proud of being part of this community again. When I am not busy at work, I am busy being a mum to two daughters, of which one attends the school.
